To start off 2013, a new blush purchase was in order. Stila is prepping to release their "All You Need is Love" blush palette for Spring 2013. Fortunately for me ... our store received these palettes last week! At only $14 this cheek palette is a STEAL! The pinks are beautiful for highlighting and blush contouring (however, note that the gold letters are only surface gold), and a swirl of the four blushes together provides the perfect pink flushed cheek for that just come in out of the chilly weather glow. I am a SUCKER for pinky pink blushes. This was perfect! Girly pink cheeks are always in style for me, so I wore this for the first time today. Not only am I in love ... but all I need is this BLUSH!

Butter London:
The Spring 2013 Butter London Nail Lacquers have been released, and pastel is the palette for the spring! Many cosmetic lines have released pastels as a part of their Spring 2013 lines, and the colors recently released by Butter London do not disappoint. Molly Coddled is one of these Easter egg pastels, and is described by Butter London as an opaque lavender orchid creme. The color was featured in the February 2013 Beauty section (Color Pop! Think outside the ordinary. Shop a spectrum of nail polishes.) of InStyle leading me to NEED to try to color. Butter London's spring colors are $15 an can be found at many major cosmetic retailers. This purple, or rather lavender orchid creme, is so cute and was the perfect compliment to my dark purple J. Crew cardigan and pearls that I was sporting at work today. Pastel nail polishes have never been on my list of favorites, but after attempting pastels with this particular nail lacquer I have a feeling the rest of the Spring 2013 Butter London line is in my future!

As I mentioned in my last post I am a MAJOR fan of StriVectin's newest release: Advanced Retinol Night Treatment. I have only been using the product for a week, and already my skin feels softer & firmer, my acne is vanishing, and the retinol (despite being at 1%, which is the highest percentage allowed on the market by the FDA) leaves no redness or dry patches behind! For anyone looking for younger, brighter, and overall healthier skin, StriVectin-AR is a great product. It's pricey ... but not the most expensive one on the market (1.7 ounces; $109).
